Humanoid is a British robotics company founded in 2024, headquartered in London with additional offices in Boston and Vancouver. It operates under the company SKL Robotics, with entrepreneur Artem Sokolov as founder. The company employs more than 200 specialists according to its own statements.
The core product is the modular humanoid robot HMND 01, controlled by the in-house KinetIQ framework based on vision-language and vision-language-action models. The design allows for various upper and lower body configurations as well as interchangeable end-effectors and textile casings. The robot has been tested in logistics in collaboration with partners including SAP, Siemens and Martur Fompak.
Humanoid positions itself as a British pioneer for commercially scalable humanoids and has raised approximately 50 million US dollars in seed capital. With a beta version of the wheeled model announced for 2026, the company aims to transition from prototype to real-world workplace deployment. It thus ranks among Europe's most ambitious humanoid projects.
